Eight hour coverage starts at $4600 and intimate weddings start at $1150
"Rebecca was our wedding (and engagement) photographer and I could go on and on about what an outstanding photographer she is!! We just got our wedding pictures back and *swoon* they are AMAZING. She somehow managed to get all of the perfect shots that I could have ever hoped for (the details, the family portraits, the romantic bride/groom shots, the laughter, the sweet intimate looks, candid moments, our guests having fun and dancing, wedding party shots, etc.) Every time I look through our photos, I am transported back to that day and am able to relive it all over again. There isn’t anything that she missed! Not only is she an extremely talented wedding photographer, she is also a dream to work with. She has the perfect balance of being fun and putting her clients at ease, while still keeping everyone on task to ensure that she gets all of the pictures needed within the allotted time. This was extremely appreciated throughout our wedding party pictures/first look and family portraits! I am so happy that we chose Rebecca and I would recommend her to anyone looking to book their wedding photographer!"
"If you want stunning pictures that you will look back on fondly, Rebecca is your go-to photographer. She was simply incredible! Planning a destination wedding can be daunting, but Rebecca made the process so easy! She has an artistic eye and was able to capture the true essence of our intimate Napa nuptials. I just received the proofs a few weeks ago and I could not be happier with the results. People told me that the images she took could easily be on the cover of any bridal magazine - the only hard part was choosing what images to use for my album because there were so many good pictures to choose from. In addition, she was pleasant to work with and I was incredibly blessed to have her as a part of my wedding day. Simply the best!"
"Oh my gosh...The photos are out of this world! You captured so many wonderful memories, I feel like I just went back in time. I'm so thrilled we were able to have you as our photographer. Thank you, thank you, thank you."
"I couldn't have asked for a better person to capture our personalities. Rebecca, you were amazing and I am so blessed you were there to capture our special day. You and our videographer worked so well together, I couldn't be more thankful."
I believe that telling the story of your wedding day consists of capturing wonderful candid moments, creating stunning portraits, and documenting all those fun and pretty details that you've put into making your day unique. My background is in photojournalism and I definitely approach weddings with a journalistic eye. Although I am not a fly on the wall and quite often you'll see me in the mix of the action, I am non-intrusive and would never ask my couples to stage a moment.
Yes, I have a skilled second photographer join me for weddings that include full day coverage and over 75 guests.
One of the most important thing about great photography is creating a great relationship with your subjects. I make the portrait sessions fun, and before you know it all of your worries about being in front of the camera drift away.
Yes, I love elopements. I take a limited number of intimate weddings every year. It is always an honor to be one of few people witnessing your marriage.
For sure! I love the opportunity to get to know my couples before their wedding day and an engagement session is a great way to do that. Most of my engagement sessions take place in Wine Country or San Francisco bay area.
I live in Sonoma, California but travel up and down the Golden State.
Absolutely. If you want me to travel over two hours from Sonoma, I may require travel fees, airfare, or overnight lodging.
I generally do not work off a shot list as I find it can be distracting from documenting the day as it is unfolding. That being said, I do require that you create a formal portrait list and encourage you to share "must have" shots with me that may not be obvious on your day.
Absolutely! I am part of several local photography groups and associated with many very talented photographers that I can reach out to in case of an emergency. I will do my best to match you with another photographer that is similar in style. Having to find a new photographer at the very last minute is a scary thought, which is why it is so important to have a supportive group of like minded photography peers.
Yes! As a professional photographer, being insured is a must.
Of course! Your family and friends are there to celebrate with you. Taking photos is human nature, and heck, when is there any other time in your life that this particular combination of people going to be together. Just be aware that I can not control a missed moment when “uncle Bob” hops in the middle of the aisle (in front of me), during the kiss.
Definitely! There are so many different scenarios when it comes to the flow of your wedding day. If you are working with a professional planner they will have a good sense of how much time is needed for photography at different points of the day. If they have any questions or you have specific requests we will communicate together to make sure it's all spelled out. If you don't have a planner, I am happy to make suggestions or create a timeline for you. I require a timeline for all weddings.
All your edited photos will be ready six weeks following your wedding day.
On average, I deliver 100 images per hour of coverage. If I convert any photos to black & white, you will receive both the color and b&w version of the image.
Every image you receive is edited for color, exposure, framing, and style. Retouching is specialized work that includes things like blemish removal, skin smoothing, and removing stray hairs just to name a few.
No! Taking the photos is only part of the equation. Part of what makes my style unique is the way I edit the photos. Handing over unedited photos is not in line with my professional practices.
A common question asked indeed. It depends what “that” is. I will likely remove an annoying little blemish during basic editing. But, if you’d like me to Photoshop out eye-glasses, remove people from portraits, erase bra straps, clean up acne etc., there will be an additional high-end retouching fee. The fee will be custom quoted by job.
All my clients receive "high-resolution" photos as part of their package. This term refers to the full size version that my camera produces. You will be able to make very large prints (such as a 20x24) from these digital files.
Yes! Along with the delivery of your digital photographs, you will also receive a letter authorizing your lab to print the photos. You are not required to make prints through me.
Is quite simple. I want you to enjoy your wedding day and have fond memories when you reminisce. We will work together in the weeks leading up to your event to ensure that all the logistics are taken care of. So on the big day you can be in the moment, stress free. I bring a sense of lightheartedness to my work and although I can be direct when appropriate, I can also be flexible. Being organized and relaxed are my main priorities as I approach your big day!
